The South Corridor Toll Highway links the center of Panama with the airport. Via Diaz Sunday also connects the city of Panama and the airport.
Airport Parking: About 25,000 square-meter parking area is located across the main terminal building. The parking costs PAB 1.00 for the first hour; thereafter, the cost increases by PAB 0.50 for every additional hour up to 4 hours. The lot charges PAB 3.00 for two hours, PAB 4.00 for six hours, PAB 6.00 for twelve hours and PAB 10.00 for a day. In case of loss of parking ticket, the users have to pay PAB 10.00.
At The Airport: Banking and Money Exchange: There are several bureau de exchange and ATM. The National Bank of Panama branch also offers banking services at the airport.
Food and Beverage: The on site bars and restaurants also serve local cuisine. A restaurant, serving international fare, is on the second floor
Shopping: Souvenir stores and shopping are in the terminal.
Duty Free: Duty free shops, selling tax-free goods, are at the airport.
Other Services: Taxis, public buses and car rental desks are located in the arrival area of the airport for the convenience of the passengers. The 24-hour Passenger Information booths, situated in the lobby, provide information about flights, hotel reservations, airlines, tourism, emergency telephone numbers and currency exchange. Flight information system offers information in the Spanish and English. A Business Center on the first level offers telecommunication services, including international call facility and Internet access. Card- and coin-operated public telephones are throughout the airport. The airport has several bathrooms, waiting rooms, wireless Internet, a clinic for medical emergencies and a VIP lounge. Luggage carts are available in the customer area; be aware the airport porters expect tips for their services.
Disabled Facilities: For disabled passengers, wheelchairs are available upon request; adapted telephones are installed at the airport; and spaces are reserved in the parking area.
Departure Tax: The airport charges tax of PAB 20.00, which is included in the ticket cost.
