Terminal Transfers: The airport comprises International Terminal (T1), Domestic Terminals (T2- the Qantas Domestic Terminal and T3- the Multi-User Domestic Terminal) and several Regional Terminals for charter flights and region-specific services. An inter-terminal shuttle bus plies between the domestic and international terminals. However, the bus is only available for passengers holding a valid ticket. It is free for Qantas passengers but other passengers have to shell out AUD 8.00 for a ride.

Tonkin Highway (4) links the airport with various Australian towns.

Airport Parking: The International and Domestic terminals offer business, regional long term and short term parking facilities. All lots have bays for disabled passengers. Valet parking service is available at the T2. SHORTterm and LONGterm car parks, located near T1, T2 and T3, are free for the first five minutes. The parks charge AUD 3.80 for 5-30 minutes, AUD 5.40 for 30-60 minutes, AUD 7.40 for 1-2 hours and AUD 11.40 for 5-6 hours. SHORTterm costs AUD 26.00 for more than six hours whereas LONGterm charges AUD 17.00. SHORTterm charges AUD 26.00 per day after the second day but LONGterm charges AUD 17.00 per day for 1-3 days and thereafter AUD 7.00 per day. Regional Terminals’ parking is free up to first hour and thereafter it charges AUD 4.40 for 1-2 hours, AUD 6.40 for 2-3 hours and AUD 6.90 per day. Motorcycles can also be parked in the car parks but caravans and buses are not allowed. Motorists can stop in pick-up and drop-off areas for 2 minutes only.

At The Airport: Banking and Money Exchange: Westpac, Rediteller and BankWest have installed their automatic teller machines (ATMs) at the airport, while Travelex offers foreign exchange services.

Food and Beverage: Various eateries, including a convenience store and cafes, serve yummy snacks, wines, beers, coffees, full meals, cakes, pastries, spirits etc.

Shopping: Passengers can buy jewelry, gifts, gems, music DVDs, CDs, magazines, books, traditional Australian bush clothing, knitwear, luggage and sunglasses to name but a few.

Duty Free: F1rst Duty Free sells duty and tax free accessories, jewelry, cosmetics, technology, alcohol and fragrances at competitive prices.

Other Services: A quiet room, post box, first aid center, outdoor playgrounds for children, observation areas, parenting rooms, toilets, showers, water fountains and coin- and card- operated telephones are a big plus. Wi Fi is accessible from the Terminal 2 and Terminal 3.

Disabled Facilities: Airlines provide wheelchairs upon request.
