News: As per the master plan, the airport will provide enhanced commercial facilities and services and state-of-the-art passenger facilities in two phases. The first phase, focusing on development of floor space and commercial space, will be completed in 2010.

The airport is accessible from the highway connecting Rakiraki and Suva via Nadi.
Airport Parking: The public car park zone has 263 parking bays for cars, 92 spaces for tenants and stakeholders. Both short term and long term parking are allowed. The Car Park charges FJD 1.00 per hour, FJD 2.00 for 1-2 hours, FJD 7.00 for 4-5 hours, FJD 15.00 for 8-9 hours, FJD 21.00 for 11-12 hours and FJD 23.00 for 12-23 hours. The airport also offers day passes and bi-annual and annual parking rates for frequent travelers. One day pass costs FJD 15.00, two-day pass costs FJD 35.00 and 5-day pass costs FJD 60.00. Long term parking fee is FJD 90.00 per week, FJD 300.00 per month and FJD 870.00 per annum.
At The Airport: Banking and Money Exchange: The passengers can access automatic teller machines (ATMs) of Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ANZ Bank). Western Union, City Forex and ANZ provide foreign exchange services.
Food and Beverage: The food and beverage outlets serve take-away food, nutritious meals, pizzas and drinks. For hassle free shopping, vending machines are installed at the airport.
Shopping: A diverse range of products, including accessories, jewelry, beachwear, clothing, sports goods, books, magazines, gifts, souvenirs and fresh flowers, is sold at the airport.
Duty Free: Duty free outlets, Prouds and Tappoo, sell branded goods such as electronics, photography products, watches, cosmetics, perfumes, tobaccos, Fiji crafts and liquor at attractive rates.
Other Services: For the convenience of the travelers, car rental agencies, metered taxi counters, travel agencies, information desks, parents’ room, Internet kiosks and a VIP lounge are located within the airport premises. Business lounges feature phones, snacks, Internet, entertainment facilities and showers.
Disabled Facilities: The terminal features escalators and lifts for easy mobility.
Departure Tax: Departure tax is generally included in the air ticket.
