Terminal Transfers: The airport comprises Terminal 1 (Domestic –Jetstar & Qantas), Terminal 2 (International), Terminal 3 (Domestic Rex & Virgin Blue) and Terminal 4 (Domestic- Tiger Airways). Walkways connect the terminals, while escalators and lifts enable travel between different levels of the terminals.

Directions: The airport is located in the north west of the Central Business District of Melbourne.

Tullamarine Freeway and the Western Ring Road link the city and the airport.

Airport Parking: The airport has Short Term Car Park, Long Term Car Park, Multi-level Long Term Car Park, Business Car Park and Express Car Park. The Short Term Park has spaces for motorbikes and bicycles. Though pick up and drop off are allowed in front of the terminals, unattended vehicles in these zones are towed away and fined. All the car parks have designated spaces for disable passengers.

The Short Term Park and Express Park charge AUD 3.00 for the first twenty minutes, AUD 6.00 for 20-40 minutes, AUD 18.00 for 1-2 hours and AUD 49.00 for 10-24 hours. The Short Term Park charges AUD 140 for 3 days and thereafter AUD 35.00 per day but the Express charges AUD 127.00 for 3 days. A courtesy bus runs between the terminals and the Long Term Park with over 12,500 spaces. The Long Term Park costs AUD 29.00 on the first day, whereas Multi-level Long Term Park and Business Park charge AUD 49.00.

At The Airport: Banking and Money Exchange: ANZ and Travelex Worldwide Money offer currency exchange services at the airport. ANZ also provides standard banking services, including withdrawals and check/cash deposits.

Food and Beverage: You can choose from bars, cafes, restaurants and snack outlets depending on your needs. The menu includes sit-down meals, drinks, noodles, Asian food, soups, hamburgers, Portuguese delicacies, juices, bakery items, coffees and pizzas.

Shopping: While awaiting a flight, you can just browse or shop technology, health and beauty products, souvenir, gifts, books, accessories etc.

Duty Free: First Tax & Duty Free outlets in the Terminal 2 sell an array of duty free goods such as tobacco products, cosmetics, sunglasses and liquor.

Other Services: Airline lounges, gender-specific toilets, common toilets, parents’ room, showers, telephones, trolleys, Internet kiosks, a post box and a prayer room are a big plus. Wireless Internet is available throughout the airport.

Disabled Facilities: Lifts and travelators facilitate movement between various levels of the airport. The terminals feature disabled toilets and TTY telephones for the convenience of disabled passengers. Airlines provide wheelchairs upon request.
