The airport is located 50km (31 miles) from Osaka city centre.

Approximate travel times (by train) to:

Osaka: 65 minutes
Kyoto: 75 minutes
Maibara: 130 minutes
Tennoji: 30 – 45 minutes
Wakayama: 35 minutes (change at Hineno, JR Kishu Express)
Izumisano: 8 minutes
Namba: 35 – 45 minutes

A high speed ferry operates to Kobe airport (travel time: 30 minutes).  Tickets can be bought at the High-Speed Ferry Ticket Counter in the North of the terminal.  A shuttle operates between the ferry terminal and the passenger terminal building (travel time: 8 minutes).  The shuttle bus fare is included in the ferry ticket price.

By road the airport can be accessed from the Hanshin Expressway (Rinku Junction) via the Sky Gate Airport Access Bridge.  Toll fees are payable.  Journey time from the Access Bridge to the airport is 15 minutes. For toll information call: +81(0)72-455-2278.

Car parks P1 and P2 accept cars under 1.2 meters.  Taller vehicles use P3 and P4.  Mini-buses and motorcycles use P3.  Disabled passengers have designated bays and discount parking coupons are available on presentation of a Disabled Persons Pass Book. Food and Beverage: Restaurants, cafes and coffee shops are plentiful and offer a mix of Japanese, Western and Chinese cuisine.

Shopping: Varied shopping options include fashion and jewelry, cosmetics, camera and electronic stores, bookstores, souvenirs and folkcrafts.

Duty Free:  The International Section offers duty-free luxury brand boutiques.
