News: At Fateh Jang, a new bigger airport, New Islamabad International Airport, is being built to replace the existing small overcrowded airport.

Terminal Transfers: All sections of single terminal are within walking distance. There are no aero-bridges therefore buses transport passengers between the terminal and aircraft.

Airport Parking: The airport has a small car park for short-term and long-term parking.
At The Airport: Banking and Money Exchange: Money changing counters are located in International Arrival Lounge and concourse hall. Banking facilities and ATMs are in International Arrival Lounge, the concourse hall and domestic arrival section.
Food and Beverage: Both domestic and international levels feature staff canteens and restaurants.
Shopping: Both International arrival and departure lounges feature duty free shops.
Other Services: The airport has lounges, including CIP lounges for international visitors holding a business / first class ticket. All lounges have TV monitors for flight information and prayer areas. The concourse hall has post office, Internet, xerox, fax, PCOs and manned telephone booths. Porter service costs PKR200/- for international passengers and PKR100/- for domestic passengers. However, complimentary baggage trolleys are also available. Disabled Facilities: There is a ramp and Ambo Lifter for wheel chair passengers.
