Terminal Transfers: The airport comprises two passenger terminals: North Terminal and McNamara Terminal. A shuttle van transports passengers between the terminals every 15-20 minutes.

I-94 and I-275 lead to the McNamara Terminal.
Airport Parking: The onsite parking facility includes McNamara Terminal Parking Structure and The Big Blue Deck, covered parking garages, Yellow Surface Lot and Short Term Lots. There are more than 19,000 parking spaces.
The McNamara Terminal Parking Structure / Garage (11,500 spaces) provides short-term, long-term and valet parking options. An enclosed pedestrian bridge connects the structure and the McNamara Terminal. The garage charges $3.00 for up to thirty minutes, $5.00 for 30-60 minutes and $6.00 for 1-1 1/2 hours. However, long term and short term parking lots cost $20.00 per day and $25.00 per day respectively. The Valet parking costs $12.00 for up to two hours, $4.00 for each additional hour and $33.00 for a day.
The Big Blue Deck within walking distance of the North Terminal offers long term parking. The deck with 6,500 spaces charges $3.00 for up to half-an-hour, $7.00 for 1 ½ - 2 hours, $13.00 for 2 ½ - 3 hours and $16.00 per day. Short term parking costs $25.00 per day. Green Surface Lot ($10.00 per day) is cheaper than Yellow Surface Lot ($11.00 per day). A courtesy shuttle links all lots with both the terminals. Dropping off and picking up is allowed at the curb but unattended vehicles are not permitted.
At The Airport: Banking and Money Exchange: There are four currency exchange counters and several automate teller machines (ATMs) are installed in both the terminals.
Food and Beverage: Sports bars, restaurants and snack counters serve delicious eats, including Mexican, Middle Eastern and Asian fare, grab-and-go food and sushi.
Shopping: The retail shops market products of national and local brands such as Erwin Pearl, Brooks Brothers, Motown Music, Henry Ford and GM. Travel accessories, gifts and newspapers are available throughout the airport.
Duty Free: The airport has six duty free outlets selling cosmetics and gifts.
Other Services: Wi-Fi can be accessed throughout the premises. Vending machines and public phones are installed within the terminals for the convenience and comfort of passengers. Luxury Sedan, taxi and leading car rental agencies are located at the airport for ground transportation.
Disabled Facilities: Skycap assistance, wheelchairs, several wheelchair accessible restrooms and TDD / TTY phones are available at the airport.
