Terminal Transfers: The airport has dual-sided, multi-level Jeppesen Terminal, comprising Terminal West and Terminal East, and three concourses A, B and C. A pedestrian bridge connects the Concourse A and the terminal. Automated Guideway Transit System (AGTS) links all three concourses and the terminal. There are elevators and escalators to move between different levels.
Directions: The airport is located northeast of downtown Denver. Distances from major towns and cities follow: Denver – 44 Km Bennett – 32 Km Frederick – 56 Km Fort Lupton – 48 Km Exit 284 and Exit 285 of Interstate 70 connect to Peña Boulevard that leads to the airport.
Airport Parking: The airport offers ample spaces in its 24-hour parking facilities. Pikes Peak Shuttle Parking and Economy West and East Lots charge $1.00 per hour. However, Pikes charges $6.00 for a 24-hour period and the Economy Lots charge $10.00. Garage West costs $2.00 per hour and $18.00 per day. Valet East and West are the most expensive parking options with day rate of $27.00. The Valet lots charge $11.00 for the first hour and thereafter $2.00 for each additional hour. In Short Term Parking, overnight parking is not allowed and hourly parking costs $3.00. Mt. Elbert Shuttle Parking is an overflow facility and charges $1.00 for an hour and $6.00 per day. Parking space in the 45-minute Waiting Area is free and available on first-come, first-served basis. Courtesy shuttles, equipped with lifts, run between the shuttle parking and Economy lots and the terminal. All lots have designated areas for disabled passengers.
At The Airport: Banking and Money Exchange: The Public Service Credit Union branch offers money orders, traveler’s check, checking and other banking services. ATMs are located throughout the airport and World Wide Money Exchange provides currency exchange services. Food and Beverage: The onsite food options vary from table-menu restaurants to chocolate factory to specialty coffee shops. You can savor ice creams, Italian specialties, fresh cookies and wraps to name but a few. Shopping: Gift shops and news stand are throughout the terminal. Passengers can enjoy massage in concourses B and C. Duty Free: Duty and tax free shops are located in the concourses A and B. Other Services: Information booths, courtesy telephones, baggage carts, a full-service US Post Office counter and complimentary Wi-Fi are a big plus. The terminal houses an Islamic Masjid, Interfaith Chapel and USO Center. Ambassadors in white cowboy hats always ready to help the passenger. Disabled Facilities: Wheelchair-accessible vehicles are available for transporting disabled passengers from the airport, featuring TTY phones, electric carts and unisex / family restrooms.
