Several shuttle bus tour services provide transport from international and domestic arrivals terminals to Cape Town. Typical fares are around R120 per person, and R30 for each additional passenger from the same group.

Parking: 2000 shaded parking bays are located along the length of the terminal buildings at a cost of R8 (£0.64) for the first hour. A free roaming shuttle transports passengers throughout the car park. An additional 2000 bays are available in the multi-storey parkade at a cost of R14 (£1.12) for the first hour. Valet parking can be reserved at R150 (£12.03) per day. Designated bays for disabled passengers are located in the multi-storey parkade.

At The Airport: Banking and Money Exchange: A bank and foreign exchange counters are located in the international terminal, with one bureau de change in domestic departures. ATM machines are located in all terminals.
Food and Beverage: Dining options include cafés, a juice bar/restaurant, a family restaurant, and sports café in the domestic departures terminal, and a bar/restaurant in the domestic arrivals area. The international terminal has cafés and coffee shops that offer snacks and meals.
Shopping: Shopping in the public zone (domestic and international departures and arrivals) is varied and includes confectionery, gifts and souvenirs, clothing and footwear, books, stationery, music and wine.
Duty Free: Duty free shopping in the international terminal includes accessories, confectionery, gifts and souvenirs, clothing and footwear, cosmetics, fragrances, books, stationery, jewellery, liquor and tobacco, luggage and sportswear.
Other Services: International visitors leaving South Africa may obtain VAT refunds on purchases prior to check-in, from the VAT Refund Administrator located on the ground floor in international departures.
Additional airport facilities include a pharmacy in international departures, a postal agency, prayer rooms (on request), Wi-Fi internet access at hotspots in departures terminals after security, and several passenger lounges, including a smokers’ lounge. A VIP room operated by the Department of Foreign Affairs is also available. Public phones are found in all terminals and mobile phone rental services are available.
A conference centre and medical clinic are situated in the Southern Office Block alongside the domestic terminal (Terminal 5).
Disabled Facilities: Facilities are provided for disabled passengers.
Departure Tax: VAT is charged on domestic flights and an Air Passenger Tax is levied on international flights. Costs are included in the ticket. Confirm rates with your ticketing agent.
