Interstate 90 (the New York State Thruway) and Route 33 (Kensington Expressway) connect the airport with the various parts of New York.
Airport Parking: The airport boasts 6,850 parking spaces. The covered Short-Term Garage charges $4.00 per hour and $24.00 per day. The Long Term Lot A within walking distance of the terminal costs $10.00 per day and $50.00 a week. The Long Term Lot B charges $1.00 per hour after three hours, $8.00 per day and $40.00 per week. The parking in the Preferred Long-Term Lot is free for up to two hours and thereafter it costs $4.00 for 2-3 hours, $1.00 for each additional hour, $12.00 per day and $72.00 per week. A courtesy shuttle runs between the long term lots and the terminal. Spaces are reserved in all parking lots for disabled passengers. Free Cell Phone Lot can be used to wait for arriving passengers.
At The Airport: Banking and Money Exchange: Currency exchange services are available at Monarch Gift Shop; ATMs are located at the upper and lower levels; and a coin machine is installed at the lower level.
Food and Beverage: The terminal has a food court, pub, bistro, two bars and vending machines for coffee, soda and snacks. The eateries offer Italian food, American meals, beef, fresh sandwiches, pastries, gourmet coffees, sausages etc.
Shopping: There are newspaper machines and a few shops that sell sundries, flight snacks, magazines and health aids. Monarch Newsstand and Gift Shop markets rare and unique things.
Other Services: Public phone banks and Wi Fi are accessible for communication and information. Well-equipped workstations and charging stations are a big plus for tech-savvy passengers. The airport also has restrooms, massage chairs, baggage carts, observation windows and US Airways Club. Children can enjoy layover in free Fisher-Price® Play Gate.
