News: The authorities planned to invest over EUR 261.00 million to modernize and expand the airport. Construction of the SkyCourt, a new terminal building, is underway.

Terminal Transfers: The airport consists of three terminals: Terminal1, Terminal 2A and Terminal 2B. A bus plies between the Terminal1 and Terminal2; and a covered walkway links the Terminals 2A and 2B.

The Ferihegy High-Speed Road links Ferihegy with the airport. The airport is also accessible via motorways M1, M5 and M7. A pedestrian footbridge connects the Western Railway Station and the airport terminal.

Airport Parking: All the terminals feature a Quick Car Park with sixty spaces but it is available only for one hour. The Quick Car Park and short-stay car park are free for the first five minutes; thereafter, parking costs HUF 680.00 for 6-30 minutes and HUF 900.00 for 31-60 minutes. The short term car park charges HUF 1,350.00 for 2 hours, HUF 3,800.00 for 6 hours and HUF 6,800.00 per day. The long-term car park costs HUF 2,900.00 per day, HUF 9,990.00 for 7 days, HUF 19,990.00 for fifteen days and HUF 28,000.00 for thirty days. The Bus Park charges HUF 1,000.00 up to four hours. Guarded Car Park, located at the Terminal 2, charges HUF 8,500.00 per day, HUF 13,500.00 for 3 days, HUF 24,000.00 for 7 days, HUF 42,000.00 for fifteen days and HUF 59,500.00 for thirty one days.

At The Airport: Banking and Money Exchange: All three terminals feature automatic teller machines (ATMs) and currency exchange counters.

Food and Beverage: Passengers can savor Hungarian and Italian delicacies, spirits and hot food in the Irish Pub, coffees and bakery items to name but a few.

Shopping: The retail concessions sell sweet and salty snacks, newspapers, books, magazines, souvenirs, local products, fashion accessories, electronics, jewelry, photography products and soft drinks.

Duty Free: Travel Value and Duty Free outlets stock world class perfumes, beverages, chocolates and accessories.

Other Services: The airport features a wireless hotspot, post office, travel agencies, rental cars, lounges and VIP services.

Disabled Facilities: The airport with dedicated call points assists disabled passengers in all airport procedures.
