By road, the airport is accessed via the Brussels Ring Road. The airport is clearly signposted.
By bus: The De Lijn bus company offers an express service to Brussels North railway station and Roodebeek Underground station. It also runs regional services to towns such as Leuven, Vilvoorde, Haacht and Diegem. The Airport Line offers a 30 minute express service from the airport to the European quarter in uptown Brussels. Buses 12 (week days) and 21 (weekends) serve all major stops. The Antwerp Express and Brussels Airport Express offer direct, hourly services to and from Antwerp and Brussels Airport. Travel time is 35 – 45 minutes.
Rail connections run to Brussels North, Central and Midi stations. Direct train services also travel into the Eastern, Western and Southern regions of Belgium. Ticket booking offices are open 06h40 – 21h50 and ticket vending machines are available at stations. Major credit cards are accepted.
Most hotels provide free shuttle services to the airport and there are fenced off footpaths and cycling tracks to the airport.
Airport Parking: Parking garages are within walking distance of the terminal building and provide: Express parking (3 hours or less), short-term parking (1-3 days), long-term parking (3 days +), VIP parking, extra secure parking and dedicated parking bays for disabled passengers. Long-term parking can be pre-booked at the Q-Park Car Hotel (48 hours notice), located further away from the terminal. Free shuttles connect this parking lot to the airport. Bicycle parking racks are provided.
At The Airport: Banking and Money Exchange: Cash dispensers and Travelex Exchange counters are situated throughout the airport.
Food and Beverage: Restaurants, bars and cafes are plentiful and offer Belgian and continental beer and cuisine as well as a variety of fast foods, snacks, desserts and specialist coffees.
Shopping: A supermarket offers convenience shopping and also has a Postal Service Point and dry cleaning counter.
Duty Free: Duty-free and general shopping is well-catered for with fashion, luggage, accessories, cosmetics, fragrances, toys, souvenirs, jewellery, watches and electronics on offer.
Other Services: Additional services include hairdressing, luggage wrapping, fresh cut flowers, prayer and meditation rooms, baggage lockers and a pharmacy. Business facilities include a welcome, reception and escorting service (on arrangement) as well as mobile phone, fax, e-mail and internet services. Reception rooms are available for meetings.
Disabled Facilities: The airport is fully accessible to people with reduced mobility. Wheelchairs and special assistance is available on request.
Departure Tax: A Passenger Service Charge of €23.98 is payable. Fees for transfer and transit passengers are €15.36 and €5.07 respectively.
