Terminal Transfers: Free shuttles operate between terminals from 06h00 – 22h00 at the following intervals: 08h00 – 20h00 every 10 minutes 06h00 – 08h00 and 20h00 – 22h00 every 20 minutes Terminal 3 consists of the main passenger terminal (3C) and two satellite concourses (3D and 3E). A free train links these sections in 2-3 minutes (2km).
Directions: The airport is located approximately 25 km northeast of Beijing. It takes around 40 minutes to reach the city centre by car. Tiananmen Square is 25 km (15.5 miles) from the airport. Airport shuttle buses take 5 routes into the city, to Fangzhuang, Xidan, Beijing Railway Station, Gongzhufen, and Zhongguancun. Tickets are available at all stops. By rail, the airport can be accessed via Beijing Subway, using the Airport Express Line. The line runs to Dongzhimen and has stations at Terminal 2, 3 and Sanyuanqiao. By road, there are four routes to the airport: Airport Expressway links to the south. 2nd Airport Expressway links to the east / southeast. Northern Airport Line links to the northwest. Litian Expressway links to the east. Taxis are available but fee structures are complex. Only take authorized taxis from the rank, check price tables attached inside taxi windows and taxi licences. Highway fees and Bridge Building fees may also be payable. It is advisable to have the destination address written in Chinese or indicated on a map as few drivers speak English.

At The Airport: Banking and Money Exchange: Banks, ATMs and automatic exchange machines are available in all three terminals.
Food and Beverage: Dining facilities consisting of restaurants, fast food outlets and coffee shops are available in all three terminals although the majority of outlets are in Terminal 2 Domestic areas and Terminal 3. Terminal 2 International Departures has one restaurant offering a variety of local and international cuisine (steeply priced) and some coffee shops.
Duty Free: Duty-free shopping includes Chinese products as well as international brand boutiques.
Other Services: Other facilities include changing rooms, smoking and rest rooms, water fountains, public phones, a post office and a clinic. Left luggage facilities are available and for a fee, luggage porters assist with baggage and accompany passengers to their gate. Phones are operated by smart card, which can be purchased at kiosks or at the Post Office. A Commercial Service Center offers internet work stations, conferencing facilities, laptop and mobile recharge outlets as well as faxing, printing and photocopying facilities. An entertainment centre in Terminal 2 offers leisure facilities, including health and beauty treatments (07h00 – 22h00).
Disabled Facilities: A full range of amenities exist for disabled passengers.
