Terminal Transfers: The airport comprises two terminals: Domestic Terminal and Jean Batten International Terminal. Though the terminals are within walking distance of each other, a courtesy bus plies between the terminals every twenty minutes.

The Gilles Avenue leads to the well-signposted southern motorway that connects the city center and the airport.

Airport Parking: The airport offers over 8, 400 spaces in covered and uncovered car parks. Parking is free for the first ten minutes. Uncovered short-term car parks charge NZD 4.00 for 10-30 minutes, NZD 8.00 for 30-60 minutes; thereafter, the parks cost NZD 2.00 per hour, NZD 32.00 for one day and NZD 56.00 for two days. Covered short term parks cost NZD 5.00 for 10-30 minutes, NZD 10.00 for 30-60 minutes, NZD 38.00 for the first day and NZD 70.00 for two days.

Uncovered long-term parks charge NZD 32.00 for the first day, NZD 50.00 for two days and NZD 100.00 per week. The covered long-term parks at the International Terminal cost NZD 38.00 for the first day, NZD 70.00 for three days and NZD 126.00 per week. The international public car park has 21 priority parks for vehicles, equipped with 1.6-liter engines, and hybrid vehicles. The Domestic Terminal also offers covered Business Express parking that charges NZD 10.00 for 10-30 minutes, NZD 39.00 for the first day and NZD 111.00 for three days. All car parks can accommodate motorbikes; and both the terminals feature bicycle racks. Special spaces are earmarked for disabled passengers.

At The Airport: Banking and Money Exchange: Automatic Teller Machines (ATMs) and Travelex, currency exchange stores, are located in both the terminals. ATMs in Arrivals and Departures also have Braille keys.

Food and Beverage: Passengers can choose from café dining, family favorites and healthy options. Cafes serve drinks and fresh food, while some of other eateries serve fresh juices and salads for health conscious passengers. Donuts, jellies, chocolates, burgers etc. are available for kids at family favorite eateries.

Shopping: There are one hundred outlets that sell high quality Kiwiana products, books, newspapers, sports and beachwear and accessories.

Duty Free: JR Duty Free and DFS sell fragrances, electronics, liquor, cosmetics and tobacco products.

Other Services: The airport features a chapel, Muslim prayer mat, wireless Internet, VIP lounges, baby care facilities, rides and games arcade for kids, helicopter kids rides, free trolleys, post boxes, toiletry vending machines, showers and pay phones

Disabled Facilities: Wheelchair-accessible lifts, toilets and drinking fountains, and automatic doors make traveling easier for disabled passengers.
