Terminal Transfers: Although Amsterdam Airport Schiphol has only 1 terminal, distances between the piers can be lengthy. For weary travellers an electro car service provides shuttles between piers D, E, F and G and in the Arrivals hall.
Directions: The airport is situated 9 miles southwest of Amsterdam off the A4 motorway and is roughly 25 – 30 minutes from central Amsterdam. Travel times to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol are as follows:
Amsterdam city centre – 9 miles
The Hague – 36 miles
Rotterdam – 46 miles Taxis are available from designated ranks outside Arrivals. The train station, connected to the terminal building, provides a direct service from the airport to Amsterdam Central station. Regular bus services are located in front of Schiphol Plaza.
Airport Parking: http://A number of parking options are available to suit individual needs. P1 and P2 cater to short term parking and costs from 2 EUR for half an hour to 12 EUR for 3 hours. P3 caters for long-term parking and costs 50 EUR for the first 72 hours and is an extra 5 EUR for every subsequent 24 hours. A complimentary shuttle bus departs from P3 to the departure hall every 10 minutes, 24 hours a day. Parking spots may be reserved via Schiphol Smart Parking at just 5 EUR per day. Valet parking is also available.

Other Services: Information desks can be found in Schiphol Plaza, halls 2 and 3 in Arrivals, and behind passport control in Lounges 2 and 3. Lost and found offices, lockers, as well as Seal and Go services can be found throughout the terminal building. The main hall also boasts a prayer room. The airport has a medical centre with pharmacy and 24 hour medical services. Multiphone multimedia telephone units are situated throughout. WiFi is available in designated zones and a post office can be found in Lounge 2. Located within the terminal are business facilities at the Schiphol Business centre, Communications Centre and Skyport Business centre. Apart from the above mentioned facilities, delayed passengers will be happy to note that there are a wide range of extra activities available that will keep them entertained. The AirportSpa, located in departure lounge 2, offers a range of spa treatments while the Panorama Terrace provides beautiful views of the runway. Restless children are kept entertained at the designated children’s area. Between pier E and F is Rijksmuseum Amsterdam Schiphol, filled with the works of many famous Holland artists. And, for those who feel lucky, Holland Casino is also located at the airport.
